I really would like to open up discussions to exactly why this rule about non-fanart is needed at all. We still have not established why, if at any, the artists who were doing fanart were taking attention away from those who weren't, or that we are in some way hurting the site.

I would think that having some fanart would actually bring some attention to this site, and allow the visitors that would come here to see the many other good artists here. I'm still a bit peeved that I didn't get a proper send-off here, especially from the admins here. If I try to get a discussion going, I'm ignored or they change the subject. I also see a trend of some bias against me, like Steveman saying I had three days' notice when in fact I only had one day. You try handling a PM box that gets over 50 PMs a day from all the favorites, watchlists, and new submissions from other artists/fans.

As I said in the forums, it would seems like they were eager to get rid of me. It's not like I was being a troll or being disruptive to them. In fact, I just kept to myself and quietly posted art here. What I'm trying to say is, I feel I've been disrespected. Just here to vent.

I was just informed my artwork is no longer welcome here. hArtists is going in a direction that they prefer to do non-fanart, in which the artwork here should be based on original, non-parody works. I respect zab's decision, and for those that wish to continue looking at my artwork, you may see my galleries at Hentai-Foundry or WWOEC or The Jab Archives. I thank hArtists for hosting my artwork while it was still ok.

I won't close my account here. If in fact I do have art that fits hArtists' policies, then I will post here. Otherwise, I will just continue to enjoy the artworks here from other artists, like Harmonist11. Thanks!

locked thread, I was informed on the 9th and closed on the 10th. I was not given 3 days.

Finally fixed up my gallery. Hopefully it will turn out well for the foreseeable future Check out my DA gallery too!
